This painting grew as an extended color-mixing experiment. How close could I get to colors seen in an additive color environment, e.g. a computer screen, when working in a subtractive environment—painting? I also wanted to combine sequences of color in ways unusual in painting. Could a large paining read almost like a glitched computer screen?
